Maroon & White Wins THSPA Awards

Congratulations to Maroon & White for winning multiple awards through the Tennessee High School Press Association Annual Student Media Contest held at David Lipscomb University on March 4.
The staff won first place for Merit Newspaper and First Place for their editorial “Moving Beyond ID Badges-the Recurring Threat of School Violence.”
Caitlin Vining won first place in photography for her Class of 2022 graduation picture.
Halle Mullins won 2nd place for her headline “Pickleball: What’s the Big Dill.”
Joan Weddington won third place for her illustrations to “Shipwrecked Survivor.”
