Attending the prom is a privilege and not a required activity of THS. Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to purchase tickets and attend the prom.
Freshmen and Sophomores can only attend the THS prom as a guest of a THS senior or junior student. Students must meet the requirements below to be eligible to attend the prom:
- Juniors and seniors are allowed to purchase a prom ticket.
- Freshmen and sophomores will be allowed to attend prom as a guest.
- Passing three out of four subjects for the semester
- Five or fewer unexcused absences for the school year
- No more than one day of out-of-school suspension (OSS) for the school year
- No more than three days of in-school suspensions (ISS) for the school year
- No more than FIVE UNEXCUSED absences PER PERIOD (per school year and includes Homeroom)
- No more than FIVE UNEXCUSED EARLY WITHDRAWALS (per school year)
- No more than FIVE UNEXCUSED tardies to 1ST PERIOD (per school year)
