Robotics Team Places in Tournament

On Saturday, our high school and middle school's Robotics teams competed at the Rebel Rumble VEX VRC Tournament. With 32 teams
competing from around the region, it was a hard fought battle. Team “Scoop
Dog," built and programmed by Kendal Brooks, Liz Chen and DeAnte Mayo, came away with a 2nd place finish in the Skills Challenge! Team “Big
Bois” represented by Reanna Peters, Dakota Teamer, Keona
Flelitz, and Carmen Webb battled their way through the final elimination rounds
and into the final match. It was dramatic final but when their
alliance partner’s robot was flipped over, the match ended, and they were left
just short of a win. Congratulations to all our Robotics team members on
a fantastic tournament!
