Protect Bristol's Future--Event on Wed. March 13

Coming MARCH 13 - Communities In Schools of Appalachian Highlands & BTCS are partnering on an important event, which includes parent education on Social Media Safety and Signs & Symptoms of Drug Use. With this event, we want to raise awareness among our parents/guardians to ensure we keep our kiddos safe. We will have the following:

  • Detective Dan Crowe is coming to speak about Social Media Safety: Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, BeReal, Trafficking, Pornography, Sextortion, etc.
  • SCAD is speaking on drug awareness: warning signs and symptoms.
  • Amber Raines (mother of Kinley Leonard) is coming to speak about her experience with Kinley.
  • The Stashed Away Trailer will be set up outside for adults at the end.
 


Along with this presentation, we are offering: info tables in the lobby, FREE DINNER for all attendees, and FREE CHILDCARE (parent must stay if the child is here).
