November 17th is FAFSA Help Night -- TN High Counseling Office wants to offer you help with the FAFSA on Thursday November 17th! Choose an appointment time that fits with your schedule to receive personalized help with the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) from Erika Adams from TSAC (Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation). Each appointment time will be 45 minutes long and will take place in the TN High Counseling Office. You will need your Driver's License to sign in at the front office and receive a name badge before heading over to the Counseling Office. Attention all current high achieving 10th and 11th grade students: The Tennessee Governor's Schools applications are now available. Governor’s School provides eleven challenging and high-intensity programs for rising 11th and 12th grade students. Each school offers a unique learning environment for students interested in the arts, humanities, agriculture science, STEM programs, advanced mathematics, physics, leadership, international studies, Tennessee history, or potential teaching careers. Applications, and submission information will be posted on the webpages of each individual Governor’s Schools site. Art Governor School applications are due to Mrs. Skeens by November 18th and all other Governor School applications are due by December 2nd. Please remember THS due dates are not the same as the State deadlines. All completed applications are to be turned in to the counseling office by THS deadlines.

The Beta/National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 pm in the auditorium. New members of both clubs should meet in the chorus room for club pictures at 6 pm.
